::::::::::: Division of Social Welfare :::::::::::   Educational Goal::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::: Majoring Fields ¡Ý Social Welfare ¡Ý Lifelong Education ¡Ý Family Welfare The primary educational goal of the division of social welfare is fostering professional workers who contribute to the improvement of quality of human life with practical knowledge and skills. For this goal, three specified curriculums are established in the division, and through these programs, students are trained to be capable workers the modern society needs. Especially, the division prepares them for various professional qualification examinations so that they can play a leading role in professional fields.   Career Prospect with Graduation::::::::::::::::::::::::: ¡ñ Work as administrative specialists of family welfare, education and counseling workers of family life, nursery school teachers, housing specialists, and consumer counseling and administration specialists of companies and private/governmental organizations. ¡ñ Employed as education specialists at social education institutes, and in-service training centers of private companies and public offices. ¡ñ Work as planners and directors of various events, ceremonies and recreational meetings. ¡ñ As certified social workers, seek various careers of social work at social welfare centers, welfare facilities for various population groups, counseling centers for youth and women; also work as public servants in charge of social welfare and as medical social workers for patients of general and mental hospitals. ¡ñ Establish and run social welfare facilities or corporations.
